There are two ways to create recurring schedules:
1. By Copy
2. By Session
To generate recurring schedules via By Session allows you to add linked shifts AND lesson sets based on the session period you added. When you use By Copy you can only create recurring shifts NOT lesson sets.
By Session:
You must first ensure you have recurring shifts and lesson sets enable on your schedule type.
Click on Site Setup or Department Setup - Schedule Types
Click on the Edit Pencil of the Schedule Type you want to add sessional recurring schedules to
Click the tick boxes for:
Uses Recurring Shifts
Uses Lessons Sets
and save by clicking Update it
Once your system is set up to allow the generation of recurring schedules you can begin generating your recurring schedules.
Click Manage Schedules - Sessions
Add a new session
Add the session details and Save it
A new template schedule will have been created in your Current Schedules page to work with. Go back to Current Schedules to work on your template.
Note: You can also choose a template from your Current Schedules to use by selecting it in the Schedule Template dropdown above. If you choose an existing template you can continue to add recurring shifts and now you'll be able to add lesson sets as the template is now part of a session.
Add the schedule data (shifts, staff assignments, work assignments...) as your template schedule to generate your remaining schedules for the session.
Click on the wand icon to generate the recurring schedules for the session date range
The schedule generation details are filled in automatically based on the session you created. The starting week can be modified based on the week of the year being created.
Click the Show Preview button to see all the schedules that have been generated
Click Generate Schedules to create the previewed schedules
Confirm the generation by clicking Yes, generate these schedules button
Go to your current listing page to see the generated weekly schedules.
