The system role Shift Editor is given to staff who cannot create shifts from the VSB but need to be able to modify and delete shifts in the course of day to day operations.


In order for a Shift Editor system role to work you must first set the shift editing preference on your schedule type.


1.  Click on Site Setup or Dept Setup depending on whether you're site admin or dept admin

2.  Click on Schedule Types

3.  Click on the pencil icon beside the schedule type you want to set the shift editing preference for

4.  Click the tick box Allow Shift Edits from Dashboard

5.  Click Update it to confirm


Now your shift editors can modify and delete shifts from the Employee Shift Panel.
