Site Setup - gives user the system role called Site Administrator they will have access to the Site Setup menu to make changes to your organizations RecStaff configuration (doesn't require an assignment)


Dept Setup - is combined with a department assignment to create the system role called Department Administrator the user will be allowed to access the Dept Setup menu where they can make changes to the department's configuration


Payroll Setup - gives user the system role called Payroll Administrator and they will have access to the Payroll Setup menu to manage all payroll related configurations


Manage Employees - is combined with a department assignment to create the system role Employee Manager the user will be allowed to access the Manage Employees menu where they can manage the employee profiles for all staff in their department


Manage Schedules - is combined with a schedule type assignment to create the system role Scheduler the user can access the Manage Schedules menu, shiftboard and scheduler dashboard for that schedule type


Edit Shifts - is combined with a schedule type assignment to create the system role Shift Editor the user can add, modify or delete current shifts on the employee shift panel and access the shift board but can't change schedules directly.  

Note: if you are a scheduler for a schedule type you do not need to be a Shift Editor for the same schedule type.


Submit Shifts - is combined with a schedule type assignment to create the system role Shift Submitter the user can create pending shifts that need approval from a Scheduler often used by personal trainers


Access Reports - gives a user the system role called Report Viewer and they will have access to the Reports menu to run reports


Manage Payroll - is combined with payroll group assignment to create the system role Payroll Manager the user can access the Manage Payroll menu where they can create payroll periods, time cards and payroll submissions
