All changes to shifts are only sent to staff AFTER you publish or republish your schedule.  This applies to:


1.  Changes made on the VSB 

2.  Changes made on the Employee shift panel 


VSB Changes - Shift Tab and Hours Tab


Once you have published your initial schedule any subsequent changes require you to republish the schedule in order for staff affected to be notified.  To republish click on the Send Changes To Staff button on the shift or hours tab.



Employee Shift Panel Changes


Any changes you make to a shift from the employee shift panel also requires you to republish the schedule the shift is on. The schedule will change from published to modified on the manager dashboard in the Current Schedules panel.


Holding changes until you decide to republish allows you to make as many changes as you want and send the changes all at the same time.  


To republish the modified schedule go to the Current Schedules panel and click on the schedule you want to republish.  You can also republish from the VSB.
