.

1.  Click on the shift making sure to highlight the entire shift and not the shift assignment 

2.  Click on the Edit Shift Labels menu option 

3.  A label dialogue box will appear leave the box empty and click the green check mark

4.  The label will disappear from the shift

Note:  If you would like to remove a number of labels hold down the shift key and click on each shift.  All shifts should have a blue border around them.  Follow the directions above to remove the labels from these shifts.
