Groups of work assignments can be copied and pasted to another shift to speed the data entry process.


If you are working on a PC:

1.  Choose the schedule you want to copy from and go to the Work tab  

2.  Click on the work assignment you want to copy.  The first work assignment should now have a border around it.

3.  Click ctrl + a to highlight the entire shift's work assignments

4.  Click ctrl + c to copy the work assignments to the clipboard

4.  Click on the work assignment shift you want to paste work assignments on

5.  Click ctrl + v to paste the work assignments from the clipboard to the new shift


Note:  The size of the shift you are pasting into must be at least the same size of the copied one.


If you are working on a MAC:

1.  Click on the shift you want to copy the work assignments from

2.  Click Command + a to select all the shift's work assignments

3.  Click Command + c to copy work assignments to the clipboard.

3.  Click on the shift you want to paste work assignments on

4.  Click Command + v to paste the work assignments from the clipboard to the new shift


Note:  If you want to copy work assignments that are not lined up together hold the shift key down and click on the work assignments you want to copy then copy using ctrl + c and ctrl + v to paste or command + c and v for a MAC.  Work assignments must be on the same shift during copy and paste.  You cannot select work assignments from different shifts in one copy and paste action.  To copy work assignments from different shifts onto another shift you must do these copy and pastes separately one shift at a time.
