RecStaff uses text messages (SMS) to send important information such as shift notifications, schedule updates, reminders, and time-sensitive alerts. To ensure these messages are delivered reliably and are easy to recognize, we recommend saving RecStaff as a contact on your iPhone.


RecStaff currently sends SMS messages from the following phone numbers:

  • (250) 800-2864

  • (888) 802-2864


For best results, both numbers should be saved under a single contact named RecStaff.

Option 1: Add RecStaff from the Contacts app (recommended)

  1. Open the Contacts app on your iPhone
    (or open the Phone app and tap Contacts).

  2. Tap the + icon in the top-right corner to create a new contact.

  3. Enter RecStaff as the contact name.

  4. Tap add phone, then enter (250) 800-2864.

  5. Tap the phone label (for example, mobile) and change it if desired.

  6. Tap add phone again and enter (888) 802-2864.

  7. Tap Done to save the contact.

Option 2: Add RecStaff from a text message

If you have already received a text message from RecStaff:

  1. Open the Messages app.

  2. Open the message conversation from the RecStaff number.

  3. Tap the phone number at the top of the screen.

  4. Tap Info (ⓘ), then choose Create New Contact.

  5. Enter RecStaff as the contact name and tap Done.

  6. Open the Contacts app, select RecStaff, and tap Edit.

  7. Tap add phone and add the second RecStaff number (250-800-2864 or 888-802-2864, whichever is missing).

  8. Tap Done to save.
