After your schedules are built, it’s often faster and more efficient to add new shifts directly from your Employee Shift Panel rather than returning to the schedule itself. Managers can add shifts from their dashboard with all the same options and details available when building the original schedule.
Shifts can be added to any schedule that is not in the Completed state. Schedules are automatically marked as Completed four weeks after the schedule date.
How to add a shift
1. Click on the chevron (down arrow) on your Employee Shift Panel (middle panel)
2. Click on Add shift from the drop down box
3. A shift detail dialogue will appear which will allow you to create a new shift and add:
Shift date and time
Role, employee, facility and location
Shift Label
Colour

You can also add work assignments to the shift
Republishing a Schedule After Creating an Open Shift
When an Open Shift is created, the schedule it is added to will move into the Modified state. To make the Open Shift available for pickup on the Shift Board, the schedule must be republished.
You can republish the schedule by:
clicking the arrow on the cloud icon for the schedule in the Dashboard, or

- opening the schedule and selecting Republish
