This article describes how to get your site set up to use SSO through MS Entra. If you are interesting in learning more about SSO and if it is right for you, check out this article. If you already have SSO configured, and need details about how users can login using it, refer to this article.

On the RecStaff Side:

RecStaff's Single-Sign-On (SSO) module is a separate module that must be activated by support. Depending on the details of your subscription plan, there may be an additional cost for the module.

To check whether the module is activated or not, login using a RecStaff account with Site Setup permissions, go to the "Site Setup" menu, and choose the "Organization" option. This brings up the information for your site, including which modules are activated:

Once that module has been activated, you will see a new section in the Employee Profile screen:

The authentication method is set individually by account. When you first implement SSO you can provide RecStaff with a list of account that should be set to SSO and we can handle that for you.

Note that if a user is set to authenticate using RecStaff's username and password, but they choose to login through the SSO screen, they will be granted access if they have the correct Microsoft credentials.

On the MS Entra Side:

On the MS Entra side, you will need to grant your users access to the "RecStaff SSO prod". We are a verified ISV with Microsoft so you should be able to search in the enterprise applications to find the app and enable it.
