An optional part of your RecStaff payroll workflow is to send timesheets out to staff for them to review, sign off, or respond with questions.

Here is how that works:

You send the timesheets out to staff for review (from the Timesheet Listing page) and the next time an employee logs in to RecStaff they will see a large red icon indicating there is a timesheet waiting for them:

Clicking on the indicator brings the employee to their timesheet listing. Another way to get to this listing is from the "My Timesheets" link in the dashboard menu

... or, if you are a scheduler or employee manager, then from under the "My Work" menu :

The most recent timesheet will be at the top, with the status showing as "Awaiting Your Sign-Off":

The employee can selected the timesheet from this listing and sign off on it or send for review. Usually though the employee would click on the pencil icon to open the timesheet:

They can click on any of the shifts to see the shift details, notes or history. If they decide to sign-off on the timesheet the status of the timesheet will change in the payroll period to "Employee Signed". The timesheet indicator will disappear from the employee dashboard until the next pay period. Employees can still go to the listing of their timesheets through the menu option.

However, if the employee notices an error, or has a question about the timesheet. they can add a note to the bottom of the timesheet and send it back to their manager for review ( menu option "Ask Amanda to Review"

Note: once the employee has sent it back to you with a question, the indicator icon on their dashboard will turn yellow and show that the timesheet is waiting for manager review:
