My Availability

Availability is a way for employees to let managers know when they can regularly work.  Availability is optional, if you do not want your staff to define their availability then the availability setting can be set to no.

This menu option brings you to the  employees  My Availability page.  Time blocks are used to create availability.  The default setting for this page is check marks for all time slots. Therefore, if you set your system to not allow employees to modify their availability then their my availability listing page will show check marks for each time slot denoting they are available to work all of the time blocks below.  This employees availability has been modified.  


 

     1. To modify your availability click on the day of the week and the time of day you want to change.

      2. Click your mouse to cycle through the three options.  They are;


            1. Can work during this time block

            2. Can not work during this time block

            3. Can work during this time block but            


              

 

The Can work but option allows staff to specify a period of time during the time block that they are unable to work.  By clicking on the pencil beside the "can work but"  icon the dialogue box below appears.

 

 

1.  A drop down box will appear when you click on the down arrow on the "not between" or "and" fields providing you with the ability to select the time you cannot work during this time block.

 

 

2. Once you've added the time range you give a reason for why you can't work this time frame.

3. After you've completed your data entry click the blue Save button to commit your changes.

4. After you've completed all the modifications to your availability form click the blue Save my changes button on the my availability listing page to commit the changes.
